She started a classic apprenticeship as a hotel specialist in Bernkastel-Kues on the Moselle and then worked for a few years in the Bernkastel gastronomy until she became a management assistant.
During this time she also completed her studies as a state-certified hotel business economist.
Now, together with Timo Schmoll, she is managing the Mosel Hotels in Wintrich and Bernkastel-Kues.

He started a classic apprenticeship as a hotel specialist in Zeltingen-Rachtig on the Moselle.
He then went to the Cologne chain hotel industry for 7 1/2 years and most recently worked there as a department head.
During this time, he also graduated as a graduate hotel business economist (DHA)
Now, together with Ina Bollig, He runs the Moselle Hotels in Wintrich and Bernkastel-Kues.
